On 16th of September 2020, Brigadier General Róbert KLEŠTINEC was appointed by Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic Jaroslav NAĎ as the Director of Military Intelligence.

Brigadier General KLEŠTINEC, who previously served as Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Slovak Armed Forces, was appointed by the Minister of Defense of the Slovak Republic to the position of Director on the basis of established criteria, successful fulfilment of which was a prerequisite for this position.

Since April 2020, Brigadier General Juraj ŠTEFANKA, the First Deputy Director, was entrusted by command of Military Intelligence.
