During the working visit of Director of Military Intelligence of Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic (MI MoD SVK) General Ján BALCIAR in Serbia, he was received by the Minister of Defence Aleksandar VULIN.

During the meeting Minister VULIN highlighted the friendly nature of relationship between the Serbia and Slovakia and cooperation based on mutual respect of national interests. The Minister also expressed gratitude of the Republic of Serbia for fundamental position of Slovakia on non-recognition of Kosovo as independent state. In this context, he also expressed regret that the members of Armed Forces of SVK are no longer part of the KFOR mission.

Both representatives agreed that the cooperation between Military Intelligence Agency of MoD SRB and MI MoD SVK is on high level and contributes to the development of friendly relations between two countries.

At the end of the meeting General BALCIAR thanked the Minister VULIN for his receiving and added that the relationship between military intelligence services is based not only on professional relationships, but mainly on mutual trust.
