On 22 February 2019, the Director of Military Intelligence, General Jan BALCIAR, conducted a bilateral meeting with the Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Lieutenant General Robert P. ASHLEY, at DIA Headquarters in Washington D.C. During the meeting, which was conducted in the presence of other managing officials from both services, the directors exchanged experiences and information regarding present and future security challenges. The successful bilateral event also represented the first opportunity for the two directors to meet in person.
