Based on the long-term friendship and the common interests of the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, aware of the growing threats in cyberspace, to create a framework for close bilateral cooperation, exchange of experience and knowledge in cyber security, a Memorandum on mutual cooperation was signed on 21st September 2018 between the National Cyber and Information Security Agency of the Czech Republic and the Military Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.
The purpose of this Memorandum is to develop cooperation aimed in particular at sharing information on current threats and exchange of experience in cyber security. The Memorandum also includes cooperation in the preparation of joint cyber exercises with the Czech Republic, workshops and training for countries that aspire to or closely cooperate with the EU and NATO.
The Memorandum is the beginning of even more intensive cooperation between the National Cyber and Information Security Agency of the Czech Republic and Military intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic, which will bring benefits in the area of cyber security to both countries.
