On the basis of the Government\'s approved proposal, on 20th September 2018, the President of the Slovak Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Slovak Armed Forces Andrej KISKA appointed Military Intelligence officers Col. Peter TURSKÝ and Col. Jaroslav POLÁK to the first general rank - Brigadier General. According to the President of the Slovak Republic and the Supreme Commander of the Slovak Armed Forces, Andrej KISKA, the appointment is made by expressing the readiness of the superiors to assume the functions for which the provisions were. The appointment to the first general rank is not only a sign of high professionalism, but also a recognition of the current quality work of the promoted and with them also all Military Intelligence members
