Military Intelligence as part of Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic (SR) acquires, collects and analyses information significant for securing defence and defence capabilities of the SR, both within country and abroad.
Military Intelligence is an intelligence service that fulfils the tasks of the intelligence securing the defence of the Slovak Republic in scope of powers of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.
Recruitment process is based on specified basic requirements which applicants have to comply with.
Military Intelligence on the territory of the former Czechoslovakia has already been conducted in various forms since the first Czechoslovak Republic was founded in 1918.
